LILIAM HIGA

Liliam Higa is a studio jewelry practice creating one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces in gold, sterling silver, pearls, gemstones, and ceramic elements. Rooted in hand fabrication and lost-wax casting, the work brings together sculptural form, material intuition, and a precise attention to the intimate scale of the body.
Drawing from a background in fashion design, visual design, and years of working between Brazil, Japan, and the United States, Liliam's jewelry explores the tension between refinement and imperfection. Pearls, reclaimed metals, deadstock gemstones, and tactile surfaces are treated not only as precious materials, but as carriers of memory, atmosphere and transformation.
Each piece is made through a dialogue between control and embrace of imperfection: polished metal against irregular form, luminous pearls against rougher textures, structure against softness. The result is jewelry that feels personal, sensual, and quietly unconventional — objects meant to be worn, held, and lived with.
Liliam Higa’s work has been featured in publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Interview, and Gestalten. Today, the studio continues to create jewelry for collectors drawn to pieces with presence, material depth, and a sense of private meaning.

Dreaming up something special?
Custom work is an invitation to create a one-of-a-kind piece for yourself or someone close to you.
We may begin with an existing design, a stone, a pearl, a memory, or simply a feeling you want the piece to hold. Together, we’ll explore materials, scale, form, and the possibilities for a ring, necklace, earrings, or private object made with intention.
Custom pieces may include sterling silver, gold, pearls, gemstones, stoneware, or select inherited and found materials.
